Slate Rigg Farm is quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of main roads but handy enough to the main towns around us. Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon are only 15 minutes away, whilst York, Leeds and Skipton are 40 minutes away.

Ripley Castle

This castle has been the home of the Ingilby family for over six hundred and sixty years.
Ripley Castle is less than a mile from Slate Rigg Farm.

Ripley Blues Club

We’re very lucky at Ripley, to have a Blues Club which supports live music. If you want to check their website out you’ll find them at www.ripleyblues.com. As we are in walking distance from the village (granted its up hill coming home – but it will do you good!) we make an ideal weekend break for you to treat yourselves to see some special live music bands.

Brimham Rocks

Amazing rock formations with spectacular views over surrounding countryside, rich with wild life. A good place to lose some energy. www.brimhamrocks.co.uk

Harewood House and Bird Garden

The magnificent Yorkshire home of the Earl and Countess of Harewood.It is renowned for its stunning architecture and expuisite Adam interiors. The Grounds and Bird Garden are open March through to October and the House is open April through to October.http://www.harewood.org
